Passiflora biflora is a two-flowered passion flower. It is an exotic Passiflora known for its white blooms which occur in pairs. Passiflora biflora is a fast growing vine with semi-lobed leaves. Vines may grow many feet in a single season. Its exact hardiness is unknown but it is probably hardy to frost and some sources claim hardiness as low as 15-20 °F. Passiflora biflora grows in full sun of part shade. Once established, it is extremely fast growing. Its propagation is by seeds, which can take weeks to a few months to sprout. Seeds should be planted in warm soil and soaked for 24–48 hours in warm water prior to planting. Gibberellic acid treatments helps well. It may also be propagated by stem cuttings. It is grown as an ornamental for its beautiful white flowers. Passiflora biflora is native to the Americas. It also grows wild in parts of Southern Florida.
